As per the popular opinion, your general health is dependent upon the quality of the food you eat. But have you ever felt your mood to drop suddenly with no reasons, even after having healthy meals..? Do you know that besides the food eaten, “the person who cooked the food” is also responsible for your health? Especially mental health? Yes, it’s the cook and not the food, who impacts your mood..!

Health and Diet

Eating a healthy diet is possibly the single most important thing you can do for your health. When it comes to physical health, mountains of evidence tell that a healthy diet is important. And it is…! Whether it is for your cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, muscular or even skeletal system. There is so much in “how to eat, when to eat, what to eat”..! And endless do’s and don’ts…!

Healthy diets contains necessary calories which ensures you do your routine activities smoothly. It has a good representation of 5 major food groups, which are fruits, veggies, proteins, fats and grains.

There has been a hot debate on what to eat and what to not eat in regards to mental health effects. But growing research shows that besides your genetics and environment effects, what you eat might be having a big impact on your mental health too..!

Effect of Food on Mental Health

There is no specific diet that could instantly improve your mood. When it comes to what you bite, chew and swallow, your choices have a direct and long lasting effect on the most powerful organ in your body : your brain.

Numerous studies demonstrate certain nutrients for healthy brain chemistry. When diet lacks certain nutrients your body may not have what it needs to produce important brain chemicals called neurotransmitters.

People who suffer from depression have typically reduced number of neurotransmitters, especially serotonin which is important for mood regulation. Neurotransmitters are nourished from the food that gives nutrients to your body like proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, omega3 and fatty acids. Also, protein rich foods are said to boost your energy, alertness and concentration.

There’s also emerging tradition of nutritional psychiatry that uses diet to treat mood and disorders such as depression. They prescribe fermented foods and probiotics for gut health benefits, which in turn reduce anxiety level and stress.

How Hand of the Cook Decides Your Mood?

But still……! Even healthy food may cause you to feel tired after lunch or restless after dinner…! After taking therapies, medications, antidepressants or even ending up with psychiatrists, the problem still seems endless.

Researchers believe that number one factor that you have control over in terms of your mental health is “at the end of your fork”. But as per my observation, it is actually “at the end of the hand of your cook..!”

Main Chakras

Human body have Chakras that functions at subtle level. They are the energy centers of your body. Each and every chakra is affiliated to particular purpose it facilitates.

If your main chakras are imbalanced or have energy blockages, it prevents us from full vitality. As a result, we feel exhausted, dragged, scattered and ill. Chakras also houses your accumulated karmas which contributes towards quality of working of that chakra.

The Palm Chakras

Our hands have energy transmission center for chakras. These are the channels through which energy pass – back and forth. Palm chakras helps balance spiritual mental and emotional bodies.

When the person cooks food, his or her personal final frequency in form of energy, is transferred to the food they cook, through their “palm energy centers”. The vibrational energy of the cook is transferred to the person who eats that food.

So if the Cook has his Swadhisthana Chakra imbalanced, his imbalanced vibrations enters into food cooked by him through energy channel of Swadhisthana Chakra in palm. Same is in the case of rest of chakras too..!

“You are Eating Thoughts of Your Cook”

The emotions or thoughts that a cook have while cooking the food is through their “palm energy transmission channel” is immersed into the food they cook. In other words you are absorbing the karma or generated thoughts of the cook in your own self.

If you don’t have your own strong personality, there are chances that you end up getting mixture of cook’s personal thoughts and mood into yourself. And the strange thing is you don’t even realize this and consider these thoughts as of your own..!

Real Life Examples

I have had witnessed people, picking up mood and thoughts of the cook many times. In some cases, even the intentions..! There are few people whom i saw even picking up typical words from cook’s mind…! That too unknowingly..!

Later, I inquired that it was the cook who was having such thoughts in mind, while cooking food….! (I was able to recognize these sudden differences due to the fact of knowledge of vocabulary of the person who ate food. Who never spoke such words in general before..! But the Cook was used to speaking those words usually..! )

This Phenomenon creates a whole lot of mess in your personal vibrational system. If the frequency of the cook is complimenting your own, it heightens up your emotions and intentions. But if the foreign emotions do not compliment your personal frequencies, it starts creating resistance in your vibrational body. And due to this resistance your body and brain starts functioning abnormally.

Even Scriptures says, “What you Eat is What your Mind Becomes..!” So the thoughts that you carry while cooking your food transmits into it. Once you understand this whole vibrational mechanism, you will see you can use your cook as your doctor – if they are stable, happy and peace-minded.

Testimonials from Upanishads

Verse 6.5.1,2 of Chandogya Upanishad says, “Food, when eaten, becomes divided into three parts. What is its grossest ingredient, that becomes feces; what is the middling ingredient, that becomes flesh; and what is the subtlest ingredient, that becomes mind”.

Verse 6.5.1,2 of Chandogya Upanishad says, “Water, when drunk, becomes divided into three parts. What is its grossest ingredient, that becomes urine; what is the middling ingredient, that becomes blood; and what is the subtlest ingredient, that becomes Prana” (What is said about water stands for any liquid, and we must be as careful about that as about our food.)

Verse 6.6.1-3,4 of Chandogya Upanishad says, “Of the curd that is being churned that which is the subtlest part rises upwards and that becomes butter. So also, of the food that is eaten that which is the subtlest part rises upwards and that becomes the mind. Of the water that is drunk that which is the subtlest part rises upwards and that becomes Prana.…Hence, mind is made up of food, Prana is made up of water”.

Takeaway

You saw how important diet is..! The very substance of the mind is the essential energy of the food you eat. For that reason you must be careful both as to what you eat and what its vibration might be.

When food is cooked or handled, the vibrations of the cook and the handler enter into it, for cooked food is very receptive to vibrations. Usually a prayer or blessing can neutralize any negative energies attached to food, but not always, especially if the cook or handler were mentally disturbed.

This is extremely valuable knowledge for all, as the food and drink have a direct effect on mind and the vital force within.
