The karmic relationship has a meaning that people have met in the past life and they are meeting again in the present birth so they can settle down the mutual debts which they generated in past life. Every relationship is a Karmic relationship and we create debt in these relationship. These debts are the one which decides the pattern of the relationship in the present birth of ours.
Past Life Karmic Debts
Whatever relationships we are into in the current birth, are somehow extensions from our many past lives. They can be in any form or name or any kind of feelings. Until and unless we do not finish the karmic debts we are bound to be the part of that relationship.
We come across such connections either for a purpose of teaching/learning or completing the unfinished business with them. Once we are done with it, they leave our life forever.
Past Life Relationships as Karmic &/or Soulmate
When any relationship is karmic based, the main theme is learning through tough times and worst feelings. Finding Past Life Connections Through Synastry
Synastry is an astrological technique of determining compatibility between two individual by comparing the planets sign with another person planets sign. Here we check similar sign fall over each other sign in the birth chart to those in the other person’s chart.
In the synastry chart, Rahu and Ketu are seen to know the karmic as well as soulmate relationship. And if Saturn also joins such synastry, it shows long term karmic/soulmate relationship.
For example, If your Moon is in Gemini and your partner’s Rahu(North Node) is also in Gemini, it means that your Moon sign is falling on their Rahu sign and you have some karmic relation with them. It indicates some past life connection with partner and there is something to be completed in this lifetime with that person.
A karmic relationship is seen through the placement of Rahu and Ketu with other planets in synastry. If the degrees and sign of Rahu/Ketu are the same in the person who has a heavy impact on you, then it will be a karmic relationship.
If both the planets rahu/ketu are in opposite signs in both charts, i.e. if the person’s Rahu and Ketu is in Virgo/Pisces axis, and your Rahu and Ketu is in Pisces/Virgo axis, then it shows a Powerful Soulmate Bond.
South Node/Ketu – The Account Holder of Past Lives
Ketu represents your past and has record of all your past lives karma. Ketu, which is the planet for isolation, detachment, and spirituality, is an official indicator of past karma, so if in the synastry chart, Ketu’s placement is very important.
If your partner’s personal planets conjunct with your south node, it is a potential indication of a past life connection. The reverse is also true. If your personal planets conjunct with your partner’s south node, you two have unpaid karmic debt.
If someone’s planets, especially the personal planets, such as the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars are conjunct your south node or vice versa, this is a potential indicator that you have past together. These aspects indicate a strong attraction, and you are almost immediately drawn to each other.

Saturn conjunct the nodes is a particularly powerful karmic aspect and is very important in synastry. Any Saturn aspect to personal planets makes the past important in the relationship.
As the planet of longevity and stability, Saturn often plays an important role in the charts of married couples.
Conjunction of Venus with Ketu is a definite past life connection
This can indicate marriage, but it can also indicate a long-term romantic or sexual relationship. The conjunction is especially strong, but the trine, square, and opposition can also indicate a past life connection or marriage. If other aspects and planets in the chart point to marriage, then it was probably a romantic, attractive marriage.
Saturn-Ketu Synastry
When Saturn and Ketu have a connection, then that indicates a long-lasting karmic/soulmate bond. Saturn is the planet for long lasting things. If its pain, then long lasting, if its happiness, then it is long lasting. Saturn is mentor. This aspect shows past life strict/serious relationship extended to be fulfilled in this lifetime.
